Health Program

At the turn of the century morbidity and mortality in infancy and childhood could largely be attributed to environmental factors such as infection and nutritional deficiencies. With advances in medicines these problems are decreasing, at least in civilized communities where privileges are higher. However, also deaths could be attributed to the diseases which are genetic in causation. Through this page, an outline is given of strategies designed to improve on the health status especially of the less privileged families living in different communities.

Buyinza Foundation Health program is designed in away enabling us to carry out community health outreaches aiming at conducting health education/community training and sensitization. Also aid patient treatment or support community health service through the primary health centers. We screen out victims of infectious and contagious disease such as hepatitis, HIV/T.B victims and stigma management, cholera, dysentery, malnutrition management and also handle emergencies.

All these are then referred to their respective service providers. Buyinza foundation provides safe and clean water, mosquito nets. To the elderly, we provide basic needs such as food, clothes, shelter, etc. We also provide First Aid Kits to the local councils/governments (LCs), organized bodies or institutions such as schools, football teams and other Olympics teams.
